TWO COPAPHARM EUROPE MEMBERS MERGE TO FORM PACKETISCopapharm Europe SCRL shareholders and subsidiaries of the French group Ileos, Packart and Rotanotice, have merged to form a new leading specialist pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging producer.
PACKETIS is a new force in the packaging and labelling sector, bringing together extensive expertise from Packart, which specialises in folding cartons and wedging systems, and from Rotanotice, the patient information leaflet and adhesive label specialist.
The merger has been made in response to current market trends and customer requirements for a global offer of the complete range of packaging components (folding cartons, leaflets, wedging systems and labels). It is also intended to optimise commercial, administrative and industrial resources, taking advantage of the expertise of both companies, and to reinforce financial resources in order to accelerate the development of Packetis both in France and internationally.
The association of the expertise of each company, and in particular the combination of leaflet and carton capability in a unique product concept, enables Packetis to offer an original solution to its customers, and marks the foundation of France’s number one healthcare packaging manufacturer.
Packetis will continue to work within Copapharm Europe, the 10-strong Europe-wide alliance of pharmaceutical packaging specialists. A key benefit offered by Copapharm Europe is local implantation of alliance members to optimise logistics and customer service. The blend of leaflet, label and carton supply means Copapharm members offer a comprehensive service as well as shared expertise to increase market coverage and knowledge.
